Please do not rate wrong, if the phone is not compatible then if Ampere Battery cannot calculate the exact value. In this case, the app is not miscalculating, but the phone doesn't support this kind of measurement yet.

When the charger is connected to the android phone. Battery Monitor - Charger ammeter that will calculate the amount of mAh charging current is being received and will display battery status and general information. Battery Ampere - The charger's ammeter may prevent you from misusing or malfunctioning charger. It also reports that the number of mAH current cell phones charge take when connected with USB cable or chargers (AC / wireless).

Charger Amps currents measure charging time and Volt more accurately. However, it is only good to evaluate what charger is best suited for your device.

Charger current in mA depends on following things:

- GPS status
- Type of phone
- WiFi status
- current tasks running
- Brightness of the screen

Ampere Battery- Ampere charger works on Android 4.4+ devices. Not every device is supported because there are devices that lack an appropriate measurement chip (or interface) and cannot be supported at all.

Application is very light in itself. The design is simple so that it consumes very little battery.

Some phones do not have a sensor or chip that helps in measuring the flow of the charging current in mA battery monitor mode - Ampere Charger only estimates the current flow based on the charging source either by USB cable or AC adapter.


The app is not intended to be mA accurate. It's only good to evaluate which charger / USB cable combo works best for you on the same device.

Ampere Battery does not draw the most for the entire time it takes to charge the phone. If the battery is almost fully charged, then the charging current will be much less as per low battery levels.
