Story line:

In a far off realm, the master wizards rule fairly and justly from their seat in Talizand. This is the capitol of the realm where the wizards train apprentice mages to become the next great protectors of the realm. As a part of their apprenticeship, the mages are sent off to the many wizard tower outposts throughout the land to manage and protect the local citizens. These days, this task is pretty simple and straight forward. Long gone are the days of rampant rebellions of rogue knights, trolls, goblins, orcs, demons, and imps. Sure, every so often you get a cult of necromancers who cause a little trouble, but not lately. The closest you have to go for real action is one of the towers on the frontier at Techtron...

Techtron is where the realm of the wizards ends and the realm of machinery and technology rules. The citizens of Techtron once had a vast kingdom in their realm, but a robot rebellion broke out and put them on the defensive. A few years ago they sent out emissaries looking for help - and only one came up successful. A mage stationed at the Tower in the North found the emissary from Techtron wandering lost in the northern wastes. This was the first contact between the two realms. Since the realm of the master wizards had been rather boring lately, they volunteered to send all of the best high wizards off to Techtron to form a new tower and defend against the rebellious robots. In exchange, the high engineer of Techtron agreed to share one of their greatest feats of technology with the realm of wizards - the microwave! But not until the robots have been beaten back.

A few years after the wizards joined the war on robots and the battle for Techtron, some rather unusual events occurred on the outskirts of Talizand in the Forest of Noob. The lizard folk who inhabit the forest, aptly known as "The Noobs," abruptly stopped farming their fields. Upon inquiry by the high wizard of the local wizard tower as to why they stopped farming, the elder Noob became quite irate and ordered an attack on the tower! And now, as a mage apprentice, it is up to you to travel to the Forest of Noob and put down the revolt!
