With one push of a button, patients can indicate what they need – such as help with pain, hunger or a toilet visit. The app is multilingual, opens via a QR code at the bedside and requires no login or personal data. Notifications are automatically sorted by priority and forwarded in real time to the care team, who receive them clearly on their smartphone or tablet. The care provider app shows at a glance which notifications are urgent, with clear icons and colours. In this way, Bedlink improves efficiency, reduces misunderstandings and ensures more peace on the work floor. Originating from a student project at Thomas More, Bedlink has grown into an award-winning digital solution that really makes an impact in the healthcare sector.
