ABOUT RHODES :
Rhodes is a crossroad of civilizations with ancient history and beautiful natural surroundings. Located in the southeastern Aegean Sea, it is the largest island of the Dodecanese and the fourth largest Greek island after Crete, Evia and Lesvos with an area of 1398 sq. km. and a coastline of 220 km. The population (according to the 2011 census) is 115,290. The capital city of the island has about 55,000 inhabitants.

The relief of the island is determined by three mountain ranges, Attaviros (1215m), Akramytis (825m), Prophet Ilias (798m) and the valleys that are formed in between. The mild climate and unique natural beauty, the wonderful sea combined with sightseeing and monuments, create an incomparable beauty. It is an international tourist center, a cosmopolitan island that is worth visiting many times.
