(J) = Value x Rate per year x Term

(J) = R$2,000.00 x 0.10 (10% divided by 100) x 2 (24 months)

(J) = 400.00 (total interest)

Therefore, the amount that will be returned to the creditor is R$2,400.00, where R$2,000.00 is equivalent to the initial amount borrowed and R$400.00 in interest.
