Marites app is built with anonymity in mind. It's a place where you can post things that are "too risky to share". Either because it is considered taboo or the issue is something you don't want to be attached with your public image.

What it intends to do is to allow one stranger to post some funny content, then allow bunch of other strangers to share laugher with you.
