The BluuBeam app shows you information whenever you come across a BluuBeam (iBeacon). Wherever you see the BluuBeam icon the app will let you know about things that are relevant based on your location. The Library Museum or Zoo that you're in will place iBeacons in locations throughout and then load them with information that is relevant to the location were they are placed.

You'll see Beams that are around you as well as Beams that you've visited. You can even share information you think your friends would like.

BluuBeam works when the app comes into contact with BluuBeam iBeacons we call them Beams. If you aren't around any BluuBeams the app won't give you any information. BluuBeam doesn't detect other companies iBeacons.
