"Letters in the Image" is a great app for kids in early reading education. It provides good training in identifying letter shapes. The child should look for hidden letters in a picture. For each letter, there are three levels: lower case letters, upper case letters, and lower case letters. When you press the letter, you hear the letter sound. The app uses red vowels and blue consonants.

Leap Learning always uses letter sounds and not letter names, as it is the letter sounds that are weighted and used when learning to read. The letters represent sounds that bind to words when you break the reading code.

Our apps also focus on tasks, so kids get trained in seeing the words as word pictures. The children learn the words that are not audible and have to recognize the word as an image.
