Founded on November 11, 1993 in the city of Santa Rosa do Sul/SC, Regional Farmácias had its first store opened in Vila São Cristóvão, having as its trade name the same name as the neighborhood, Farmácia Vila São Cristóvão and as founder João Batista Paulo Varela, until today our mentor and leader in the most daring challenges presented by the market.

Providing basic services to the community, providing medicines and related services through an extremely personalized service, with a unique and simple way of administration, he remained in this place for approximately eighteen months. Through excellent contacts and innovative ideas, one of its best
suppliers, and why not say, a great friend, suggested the modification of the business structure and proposed the idea of ​​moving the company's headquarters to another city. Then there was the transfer of the company to the city center
Araranguá, starting a new work cycle with many challenges and new opportunities.

In May 1995, work began in the city of Avenidas, changing the name to Farmácia Regional, creating a strong brand reference in terms of quality and market presence.

Due to all the opportunities that the market presented at the time, there was a need to invest in a wider store model in search of new collaborators who were bold in their work, but with an honest and ethical behavior, a mark to this day of our work developed for many years with the community. The increase in the mix of products offered was vital for the strategy of establishing the company to be a winner, with a wide range of referenced quality products being sold at a fair price, and through the qualification of its team of collaborators, we achieved success and recognition in the local market, differentiating us from other competitors through a differentiated and humanized service, always questioning attitudes and gradually improving our approach and relationship with customers.

In 2005, taking advantage of the market growth and the offer of new innovative products and high attention from customers, the opportunity arose to open a second store in partnership, identified and known as Farmácia Du Vale, which later became the controlling shareholder. and changed its name to the chain's reference brand, becoming the group's 3rd subsidiary.

In August 2010 there was the great “watershed” in the company's history, the opening of the first branch located at Rua Amaro José Pereira 1522, Coloninha neighborhood, in the same city. With the opportunities perceived and the success in the development of the first branch, Mr. Batista Paulo Varela decided to expand the potential of his business through the formatting of a model hitherto new in the region, the commercial service network model, which was started in 2012 and spread to the present day.

From there our history only grows! We currently have 8 stores, 6 units in Araranguá, 1 in Criciúma and 1 in Balneário Arroio do Silva.

The Regional Pharmacy Network constantly seeks to improve its relationship with the customer, seeking to meet their needs, offering quality products and guaranteed origin in addition to specific services, always concerned with excellence in service and thus conquering the credibility of its customers. and collaborators.
