The BRÜHL safety distance configurator is aimed at people who are concerned with safety distances through separating protective devices when developing machines and systems as part of the risk and hazard assessment. The BRÜHL safety distance configurator offers users a mobile, free option to set safety distances for protective devices in accordance with the DIN EN ISO 13857:2008 standard. By setting the parameters: height of the protective device, ground clearance and opening size of the protective fence element, the program determines the safety distance to the danger area for the user and then displays this graphically.
