The first phase has 64 clubs divided into eight groups of eight, where clubs face each other in two rounds. The top four from each group qualify for the second round. In case of equality in the score, the following are tie-breaking criteria:
1) more wins;
2) better goal difference;
3) more goals scored;
4) direct confrontation;
5) fewer red cards;
6) fewer yellow cards;
7) lottery.

Second phase, Round of 16, Quarterfinals, Semifinals and Final are played in the knockout system in round-trip matches. In case of equality in the score in any knockout stage, the following are tie-breaking criteria:
1) goal difference in the match;
2) penalty shootout.

The four teams qualified for the Semifinal guarantee access to Serie C.
