Holy Quran and sunnah, among st other places.
Allah almighty is the creator of this world and everything in it. it is important to know the Asmaul husna which is called the attributes of Allah Almighty.
Knowing Allah makes a person love and fear Him, and put his hope in Him , and be sincere towards Him in his actions .

Our Beloved prophet(SAW) said the following about the Asmaul Husna:"Allah has 99 names. whoever memorizes and embraces these qualities will enter heaven"(Bukhari).
The verse of Holy Quran "The most beautiful names belong to Allah: so call on him by them;but such men as use profanity in his names: for what they do, they will soon be requited"(Surah al-Araf,verse 180).
the above verse warms us that attaching meanings that are not right to the creator and comparing other things with Allah Almighty or giving attributes which describes his name to anything other than Him is seen
as "going down the wrong path with regard to the Asmaul Husna".
Allah has described himself in Qur'an through his 99 names and Attributes. Muslims believe that studying these names and Attributes is one of the most effective ways of strengthening one's relationship with God.
