Floating Circles is an app/game to create screen contents (circles) of generative art or to simply enjoy watching the circles floating and learn how to influence this by the menu.
- Tap on the upper part of the display to suspend the movement. If you like the screen content, you may take a screenshot in the way it is provided by
your mobile phone. Now you have got a picture of generative art and you may print it on paper to decorate the wall or you may use it as a background picture on your mobile phone
- Tap again on the upper part of the display to resume the movement. Perhaps later you find a better screen content, certainly after changing the basic conditions in the menu:
- Tap on the lower part of the display to get the menu. You may change the basic conditions of what happens on the screen, you may tap on the buttons more than one time:
Speed+ All circles move faster
Speed- All circles move slower
Recolor Recolor all circles by accident
Rec Bkgd Recolor the Background,
Default is black, some more options are provided by pressing the button again
Radius+ All circles bigger, for graphical reasons feel free to enlarge them bigger than the display is, dont mind that these circles are flickering
Radius- All circles smaller
Stroke+ The stroke of the circumference of all circles bigger
Stroke- The stroke of the circumference of all circles smaller
Circles+ Add one circle by increasing the setpoint for the number of circles, it is created at the next collision of two already exisiting (completely displayed) circles
Circles- Remove one circle by decreasing the setpoint for the number of circles, at the next collision of two already exisiting (completely displayed) circles one of them is removed
Circles++ As Circles+, but 10 circles are added. After one adding the next adding is not made immediately, adding is suspended for a little while
Circles-- As Circles-, but 10 circles are removed. After one removing the next removing is not made immediately, removing is suspended for a little while
Back Hide the menu
State Show the current number of circles on the screen and show the current value of the setpoint, as set by the Circles+- buttons
