While navigating with Google Maps or any other application in the background, CAR Dash Cam will record what happens on the road using your phone camera.

Recording starts automatically; When you start the app, the red record widget will appear, indicating that the video recording has started. Google Maps is allowed to start in the background, so you can navigate while the dash cam is recording.
