HOW TO PLAY
Euchre is a classic trick-taking card game played with a 24-card deck (9,
10, J, Q, K, A of each suit). You and your partner (across from you) work
together to win tricks against the opposing team.

BIDDING: After cards are dealt, players bid on whether to make the
turned-up card's suit trump. If everyone passes, players can call any
other suit as trump. The team that chooses trump must win at least 3 of
the 5 tricks.

PLAYING: The player left of the dealer leads the first trick. Players must
follow suit if possible. The highest card of the led suit wins the trick,
unless a trump card is played. Trump cards always beat non-trump cards.
The Jack of trump (Right Bower) is the highest card, followed by the Jack
of the same color (Left Bower).

SCORING:
- Win 3-4 tricks: 1 point
- Win all 5 tricks (march): 2 points
- Win all 5 tricks going alone: 4 points
- Fail to win 3 tricks (euchred): Opponents get 2 points

GOING ALONE: If you think you can win all 5 tricks by yourself, declare
"alone" and your partner sits out. Successfully marching while alone
scores 4 points!
