The Cardinal Consumer Authentication Device (CAD) App is available for free on Android and other smartphones. It allows you to protect your credit card from online criminals when shopping online, by sending you a passcode so your bank will recognize you as the person initiating an online transaction. How it works: Download the CAD App, and when you are shopping online, you can request a passcode to enter at a merchant’s website during checkout, to verify that you are the registered cardholder, to prevent fraudsters from stealing and using your credit card information.
