CARE Peru is launching a pilot training program through a mobile application for business management, helping to close the digital divide and providing support to businesswomen seeking to strengthen their position after the harsh effects of the pandemic.
The effects of the health and economic crises have affected entrepreneurs in our country. Women entrepreneurs, a fundamental part of our country's economy, face significant financial and digital gaps that hindered their development and fair inclusion in the national economy. With the arrival of the pandemic, these gaps have been seriously exacerbated.
Within this context, the Ignite project, by CARE Peru and Mastercard, was born. With the goal of empowering, training, and igniting the entrepreneurial and business strength of women, CARE Peru has developed a series of products for businesswomen, one of which is the EmpreSara application.
