​The Center for Health Education, Awareness Resources and Services (CHEARS) and our members share a common mission of supporting and expanding access to quality comprehensive health care for every individual.

Specifically, CHEARS’s mission is, “to promote health education and awareness among the general public .”

The CHEARS vision is “to advance the health and wellness of communities throughout world, creating a comprehensive health awareness for general populations.”

Our Mission
-To contribute to the knowledge and understanding of health behavior through scholarly research;
-To maintain the highest standards of academic excellence in teaching and the professional preparation of future health promotion specialists at both the undergraduate and graduate levels;
-To develop leaders who will contribute to the growth of the profession and the accomplishment of societal health goals;
-To serve as a health promotion resource to the community.
