For some time now, the refrigerated telephone Vienna has been accepting reports of people sleeping outdoors without shelter during the cold months. As part of the street work, social workers follow the instructions and look for the people and places mentioned. There they offer individual help and distribute sleeping bags, advise the people and if necessary bring them to one of the emergency quarters.
With the Kühlemelder App you can now easily and digitally submit a message about needy people to social institutions or set off in case of suspected health hazards directly from the app an emergency call.
The chill detector app allows you to accurately mark the position and send all important data to the street workers. You can save your personal information and have it filled out automatically for future messages.
If there is a suspicion of an acute health risk or in an emergency, you can also simply contact the rescue service by speed dialing from the app or (if installed) start the rescue app which additionally transmits location information to the rescue service.
The digital message by refrigeration alarm app currently works only in Vienna.
