The Andhra Pradesh State Institute of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj (APSIRD&PR), formerly known as AMR-APARD, is a premier training institute focused on strengthening Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Governance. Established post the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh under the Xth Schedule of the Re-organization Act, APSIRD&PR builds upon a rich legacy in domains like Rural Development, Panchayat Raj, Drinking Water, Sanitation, Disaster Management, Poverty Alleviation, Women’s issues, and the PESA Act of 1996.

Additionally, APSIRD&PR conducts various government-sponsored training programs to empower communities across Andhra Pradesh.
