It aims to determine the physical property of foods grains, fruits and vegetables and it is essential for designing the process equipment. These geometrical properties can be measured and represented as (i) major diameter length, mm (ii) intermediate diameter (width in mm) and minor diameter (thickness, mm) Based on the experimentally measured data has to be calculated for its derived forms viz., for its wider range in engineering applications.
