The Wildportal app is the central digital solution for collecting, coordinating, and managing hunting and wildlife-related information in the cantons of Basel-Stadt and Basel-Landschaft. It was developed on behalf of the responsible authorities and is aimed at hunters, gamekeepers, government officials, and other stakeholders in wildlife management.

Functions:
- Record wildlife observations: Report sightings directly from the hunting area – with photos, locations, and details.
- Track reports: Recorded kills or finds can be documented in a structured and comprehensible manner.
- Event reports: Quickly report important incidents (e.g., wildlife accidents, suspected epidemics) to the responsible authorities.
- Notifications: Receive information about hunting events, rule changes, or regional peculiarities.
- Offline functionality: Data can be recorded and later synchronized even without network coverage.
- GDPR compliant: Your data is processed in compliance with data protection regulations and encrypted.
