The MyMRI app is intended only for people undergoing Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), which requires the use of a contrast agent, a drug that is injected during the MRI and results in more meaningful images.

During an MRI scan, patients may have to hold their breath for up to 15 seconds. The app helps patients prepare for the MRI by offering them breath-hold exercises that take about the same time as holding the breath during the MRI.

The following exercises are included in the MyMRI app:
- Breath hold exercises
- Information about MRI
- Information about an MRI contrast agent

A code to access the app is provided to each person by their medical facility or doctor.

The app is not intended to replace advice from healthcare professionals.
