The 47th edition of the Copa America 2021, which is the oldest international football competition in the world, is scheduled to start from June 13 this year. The tournament would be held in Argentina and Colombia, at eight venues

It will be the first time that the Copa America 2021 will be played in two countries. The Monumental Stadium in Buenos Aires will host the opening match between Argentina and Chile. The final will be played at Metro Stadium in Barranquilla, Colombia on July 10.

With Australia or Qatar absent at the Copa America 2021 , each team will only play four matches in the squad. For Argentina, these are four extremely familiar opponents of the Copa America. Lionel Scaloni’s side start the tournament at the Monumental against Chile, a side they have faced in the last three Copa America tournaments.

The 10 nations played in copa america 2021 are equally divided into Group A and Group B, also known as the North and South zones. Group A will be playing their group stage matches in Argentina with Group B playing theirs in Colombia.
