Eyelid ptosis is one of the most fascinating topics in oculoplastic surgery. Even with all the research and countless publications on the subject, there are still controversies and doubts. In parallel, new techniques are emerging that increase the challenge both for experienced surgeons and for those who begin their professional practice.
The second book in the “Manual of Conduct of the SBCPO” series, which had its conception and started with the ex-president Dr Roberto Limongi, brings to the reader the experience of the members of this Society in the theme Palpebral Ptosis. Under the coordination of Dr Roberto, several clinical and surgical aspects of Ptosis were presented in a closed meeting during the 63rd Brazilian Congress of Ophthalmology, and conducts were voted among the participants, active members of the SBCPO.
The content of this book, enriched with images and videos of high technical and scientific quality, will surely provide support and guidance to colleagues who are dedicated to the treatment of eyelid ptosis.
