The IVC-1 is a Bluetooth enabled module which comes with a plug and play harness to connect to your existing exhaust valves. The system can be used in bypass mode so that the OEM ecu can control the exhaust valves, or you can manually control them to force them closed or force them open.

Please note, forcing valves closed under heavy engine load can damage your engine.

Why would you want to manually control your valves?

Because the OEM ecu will continually close your valves under different driving situations and this reduces exhaust sound.

Or you could have a very loud exhaust and you want to keep it quiet under certain conditions such as near your house where you don’t want to disturb your neighbours.

The IVC-1 can also be configured to put a timer on the valves opening after ignition is turned on, this is useful to keep the exhaust quiet until you have left your immediate neighbourhood.
