ASI Italian Sports and Social Associations (formerly the Italian Sports Alliance) is one of the most important and representative sports promotion bodies which, since its establishment in 1994, has been recognized by CONI.
In addition to the national headquarters, ASI has 130 territorial offices, 70 technical-sports sectors and more than 5000 operators and collaborators present throughout the national territory.
ASI brings together amateur sports associations, sports clubs and cultural clubs that decide to affiliate with it to carry out their recreational/recreational and cultural sports activities.
Our vision
Through its central and peripheral structure and thanks to its associative fabric, ASI is committed every day to promoting and spreading sport and the values connected to it, as well as contributing to the spread of sporting practice (and its teaching) as an essential element of well-being and civilization.
Over time, ASI has also broadened its range of action and today also operates professionally in the cultural field, in that of social promotion, in the tourism and environmental sectors.
How we translate our vision into action
organizing amateur and competitive sporting events for all ages throughout the national territory
organizing championships and tournaments of all sports disciplines
training and updating managers, technicians, sports operators and instructors
organizing training courses aimed at disseminating heterogeneous skills in the sporting field by organizing cultural, recreational and free time activities
organizing conferences and working on publications aimed at disseminating a modern sport model capable of meeting the needs of operators and enthusiasts
seeking dialogue and synergies with sports institutions (CONI, FSN, DSA, EPS), government institutions (Government, Ministries), local institutions (Regions and Municipalities), schools and companies sensitive to the need to enhance the sector and encourage its growth.
Our values
All these activities are rooted in a deep-rooted belief: according to ASI, sport is essential to guarantee people's health and their psycho-physical well-being, as well as to encourage processes of aggregation and social integration.
In a world in which material and immaterial inequalities are increasing, therefore, ASI believes in the ability of sports and cultural associations to bring man back to the center in his social being, and to restore a value system based on the principles of correctness, loyalty and participation.
