Liberia ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) phase 1 edition, is an intelligent alphabetic communication system developed for Android mobile devices. The voice generator has a phrase predictor and allows converting from text to voice both the added phrases and the text that the patient himself types using a physical keyboard or on-screen.

Like any system that uses artificial intelligence, Liberia ALS builds neural networks that are enriched by learning. To do this, it uses speech recognition technology to allow Liberia ALS to automatically add to the phrase predictor all those phrases and expressions that the patient uses in his daily life when he can still talk to his interlocutors. In turn, and in order to improve the future user experience, Liberia ALS also learns from the interlocutors with whom the patient speaks. This will allow them, when they are no longer able to speak, to have the phrase predictor show them the most appropriate phrases to follow the conversation with their interlocutor according to the context. In addition, the neural network will continue to learn even when you are no longer able to speak. In this sense, and in order to avoid algorithmic bias so as not to alter the proper functioning of the neural network, everything that the patient types and converts to speech, will go through a period of monitoring by use, which will avoid adding phrases to the predictor with writing defects.

Liberia ALS uses the voice synthesizer you have configured by default in your device to convert text to voice messages, so the price does not include the supply of synthesized voices. However, if the synthesized voice that your device has is not to your liking, you can choose to acquire other existing voices in the market such as TTS Vocalizer, Acapela TTS,...

Liberia ALS is not supplied with default phrases added to the phrase prediction system. The content of the phrase predictor will be created as you use it.
