Train your brain in well-being:
The Compassion Lifestyle app contains mental training to train the brain in positive emotions and create inner security to feel good. By doing the exercises, you will learn how you can feel good based on an approach of compassion as a new stress management method.
Compassion is based on research:
Research has shown that if you can make your brain safe and your body calm, our health and our ability to concentrate, endurance, creativity and planning ability improve. By activating the body's own security system, a buffer is created against stress and enables a feeling of joy of life, better health and good relationships.
The knowledge about the Compassion Lifestyle App is based on brain research, CBT, affect theory, attachment theory, Buddhism and mindfulness.
The app with the exercises is part of a research project on compassion at Karolinska Institutet.
