Agua Viva Christian Community is a Christian church that began in the city of Lima in 1985 with a small group of people who loved God and wanted to serve him.
The meetings of our church began in the living room of a house, but with the help of God, the number of people increased and we began to rent a space for the meetings.

The growth of the church continued and we had to take a step of faith and rent a theater to start having our Sunday services. From that moment we began to multiply rapidly, currently having meetings on Saturdays and Sundays in 8 locations in the capital: Risso, Lima Norte, Lima Sur, San Juan de Miraflores, San Juan de Lurigancho, Chosica and in the Agua Viva Convention Center (Former Amauta Coliseum).

The church has a network of approximately 8,000 connection groups and more than 40,000 members, doing a strong job promoting Christian values ​​and principles in children, youth, marriages, and families seeking a transformation in people's lives.

The church also places special emphasis on evangelism, leadership training, and social assistance.

We have missions in various cities in Peru such as: Arequipa, Sullana, Puno, Huancayo, Tarma, Trujillo, Chiclayo, Pucallpa, Iquitos, Piura, Talara, Tacna, Huacho, Barranca and Chincha. We also have churches in the United States and the United Kingdom under ministerial coverage.

Our Senior Pastors are Pastors Sergio and Carla Hornung, who for years were part of the pastoral team and led the youth ministry with great success and as of September 2015 assumed the senior pastorate of the church.
