Learning for Future - during class!
This is where theory comes to life: Discover the consequences of climate change with your class and find out why - simply by using a smartphone, clearly and precisely for your lessons. Thanks to Virtual Reality (VR), your students understand the abstract relationships faster and better than through complex graphics and text.

Complex Connections - Simply Explained
Use VR to travel with your class to areas where climate change is already clearly visible - and set out on a journey of discovery in these foreign habitats. Their pupils see the climate consequences directly and experience them in their dependency. After all, the complex relationships between the natural and anthropogenic greenhouse effect can also be clearly illustrated by means of a VR climate model. This keeps everyone on the ball - and keeps the results more sustainable in mind.

How it works:
You do not need a complicated technique, only
1. Cardboards *,
2. Smartphones (which your students probably carry with them anyway) and
3. The Cornelsen climate change app (which is easy to download for free).

You will be supported by:
4. the free Cornelsen guide to the app
5. the free Cornelsen workbook with tasks to the app

Both materials will soon be available at cornelsen.de

Three practical modules in one app
With it, you and your class research climate change first-hand and with a 360 ° view: The app contains three modules for selective use in the classroom.
• A 3-D habitat (savanna in three climate states)
• A 3-D climate model that dynamically illustrates the effect of individual factors of the greenhouse effect
• Five thematically fitting world maps showing the originators and consequences of climate change

Enrich your lessons with virtual reality ... and give your students a learning experience that will be remembered in a lasting way. That's the way Research for Future goes.

* A cardboard
is the handy alternative to VR glasses. It consists of two lenses and a cardboard holder in which the smartphone is inserted. The advantage lies in the low threshold: It is very cheap and easy, so that your students can also use the app at home (eg for homework).

Cardboards should only be worn for a few minutes as VR use can cause symptoms of motion sickness (headache, dizziness, nausea). Special caution is advised in persons with chronic migraine or epilepsy. Please avoid walking around with glasses, otherwise there is a risk of collisions and tripping.
