▶About Agon Shu
Agon Shu (Agon Shu) enshrines the "True Buddha Relic" as its principal image and conveys the method of attaining enlightenment directly preached by Shakyamuni.

It is a sect of Buddhism that relies on the "Agama Sutra," the only sutra directly preached by Gautama Buddha.

In Buddhist studies, it is classified as a fundamental Buddhism.

This "Agama" is a transliteration of the Sanskrit word āgama (āgama) and means "coming."
In other words, it is the "traditional teachings."

▶About the principal image "Gensho Busshari"
The "Gensho Busshari," the remains of the Buddha Shakyamuni,
will grant wishes as desired, and its merits are said to be "like rain of treasures."
Due to its miraculous merits, it is revered as the "Living Buddha" and the "Living Shakyamuni."

▶About Juntei Kannon Daibosatsu
Juntei Kannon Daibosatsu is the Kannon that appears as Shakyamuni,
and is said to appear in this world to liberate all living beings from their evil karma and save them from suffering.
It is said that the power of salvation will not cease as long as there is even one living being suffering in this world.

▶About the Agon Shu Kyushu Headquarters' Agon Shu Festival Mairi

On September 15, 1981, at the ceremony to celebrate the relocation of the Agon Shu Kyushu Branch,
the Bodhisattva Agon Shu descended into existence in the flames of a goma fire.

Every month, on the festival day of the Agon Shu Kyushu Headquarters, a goma ceremony and sermon are held,
and a festival pilgrimage is held to receive the merit of good fortune and a change of luck.
