UdeM Alerte is the official security application of the University of Montreal. It allows the student community as well as staff members to be alerted quickly in the event of an emergency situation on one of the campuses. The UdeM Alerte application also provides access to various prevention and security tools.

UdeM Alerte includes different features:
- Emergency instructions
- Buttons to quickly communicate with UdeM Security and emergency services.
- Virtual accompaniment by a member of the UdeM Security Department or by a loved one.
- Location sharing.
- “I’m OK” message.
