Dacia Travel Companion complements the detection system present in certain vehicles by offering you a break at the right time.
It analyses the length of your journey, data from your health application and the hours of sleep you entered the night before. At the same time, it measures your level of drowsiness at the wheel in real time using images from your smartphone's camera. The application can thus detect signs of fatigue and alert you effectively.

Do you want to take to the road and benefit from Dacia Travel Companion assistance? It's very simple:
- Enter your journey
- Select your break location preferences
- Enter your sleep times from the previous day
- Place your smartphone on a suitable surface facing you, and authorise access to the camera to detect your face and signs of drowsiness.

The application will recommend stops at the best times and in the best places. However, it's up to you to take a break whenever you feel the need.
And don't worry, none of this data is stored or shared!

Breaks are part of the journey, and the French road safety organisation Prévention Routière recommends that you stop every 2 hours, and more if necessary, at the first signs of fatigue.
