However, my reliance is not on this hadith, but rather on his saying - may God bless him and grant him peace - in the authentic hadiths: “So that the witness among you may inform the absent,” and his saying: “May God bless a man who heard my statement, understood it, and performed it as he heard it.” Professor Maher al-Hindi commented on Al-Nawawi’s saying that relying on weak hadiths regarding the virtues of deeds is the opinion of the majority and is not agreed upon.
