The Iron Strong app is intended to support the on-going research efforts of the Danone Nutricia Research Team. The app provides researches with the following features to help them in their research operations.

1. Starting of research sessions to record test results
2. Structured forms to facilitate and reduce errors in data gathering
3. OCR function to extract readings from medical devices
4. Storage of data directly into cloud backend databases
5. Off-line mode to cater for situations where the researcher has no immediate access to the internet
