Of Neapolitan origin but resident in Udine for several years, I have always been passionate about photography, initially in analogue.
The transition to digital made me discover another world, I abandoned the artisanal darkroom and the anxiety of the result, in exchange for immediate verification and post-production capable of correcting any errors or creating particular effects.
I don't like excessively distorted photos, I appreciate natural photos with small corrections much more.
Over the years I have become interested in different photographic genres, initially landscape, then street view, until I concentrated mainly on the figure and portrait.
The portrait in particular involves me because it allows the photographer to freeze an instant in time and allow those who subsequently observe the photo, beyond the external appearance, to imagine the personality of the subject portrayed, his thoughts, emotions and feelings hidden behind that look.
