Key Features:
Secure and HIPAA compliant communication:
All communication through the App is HIPAA compliant and secure, protecting
patients’ health and personal information. Seagreen features biometric/code
access, separate media gallery, masking of doctor’s phone number during
telehealth calls, and automatic anonymization of patient information when
communicating outside the practice or authorized patient’s family group.
Medical discussions and case documentation:
Seagreen enables the creation of distinct medical discussions within a chat,
related to a specific medical case, patient, or any other topic (a “case”). All
cases are available as separate folders in the ‘case’ tab, in addition to the
conventional chat-thread view. Cases can be viewed, edited, updated and
exported via email.
Smart video calls:
During a Seagreen video call, the consulting doctor can remotely guide the
consulted party (patient or another doctor) by intuitive gestures as to how to
position their smartphone camera, remotely control the camera’s capture
parameters (zoom, brightness, focus, flashlight), and remotely capture ultra-
high-resolution images which are automatically documented in the relevant medical case. Following the Seagreen telehealth video call, a call summary
can be instantly generated, filed in the relevant medical case, and be sent for
billing and EHR documentation.
Smart Capture and annotation:
Unlike other communication Apps which reduce image resolution, Seagreen
captures, stores and transfers ultra-high-resolution images, at their original
smartphone camera resolution. Besides the standard, customary capture
mode, still images and video clips can be captured in monitor mode, where
Seagreen identifies the monitor frame, and crops and reorients the frame to
yield a rectangular, in-frame only, image or video clip. When desired, personal
information is automatically masked in the image or video, to protect patient
privacy. Both images and videos can be annotated, and Seagreen’s
annotation does not destruct the underlying original image and can be
removed and reappear by a press of a button.
Practice/Family account:
Each Seagreen user can add other subscribers from the same practice,
hospital, family, or any other internal group of users with permission to receive
unmasked information of a patient (referred to as a ‘practice’), as ‘practice
members’. Practice members can share un-anonymized information, co-own
a medical case, coordinate and synchronize through shared cased, and more.
Once a practice member communicates with a Seagreen used outside the
practice, such communication is automatically anonymized to protect patient
privacy.
