Date palm is one of the most appreciated fruit trees since ancient times. It is cultivated in Arabian Peninsula, North Africa, and South Asia (Pakistan).
The fruit is enriched with dietary fibers, sugars (fructose, glucose, maltose), minerals, and vitamins in the manifold to Banana, Apple, and Oranges. It is consumed as raw (fresh) or processed (dehydrated dates - chohara, syrup, powder, bar, etc).

Date palm is one of the best trees which can survive in stresses i.e. drought and salinity. Its cultivation is increasing day by day that is why this application is developed on complete field-based information of date farming starting from land preparation to harvesting and processing. The Urdu language is used as a source of instruction.
