The Colorado Muslim Society (CMS) serves more than 15,000 members of the Muslim Community in the Denver Metro Area. The large, diverse community
is made up of people from all around the world who come to unite in daily prayers, community events, marriage services, funeral services, youth activities, and so much more.
The Colorado Muslim Society opens its doors to its’ non- Muslim friends and neighbors and hosts open houses, tours, lectures, and community outreach programs all throughout the year. The CMS was registered in the State of Colorado in 1964, as a religious non-profit organization. In 1974 the community purchased a house which became the First Masjid in the State of Colorado. Later in 1978, the land which CMS is currently located at 2071 S. Parker Road was purchased and expanded in order to satisfy the demand of the fast growing Muslim Community of Denver.
