PSYAPP is a mobile application developed to improve the management of health care for people with mental illness.
It is aimed at the clinical monitoring of mentally ill patients, and has different uses, such as control of therapeutic adherence, prevention of prodromes and risk detection, contact via chat, and monitoring through different self-administered questionnaires on different health variables.
It has been developed thanks to funding from the Spanish Institute of Nursing Research, after having obtained an innovation award for a project developed by researchers belonging to SACYL, UNED and UVa.
This tool will allow work in the field of psychoeducation of the mentally ill, generating greater empowerment and a more active role in their care, and will allow much faster and direct contact with reference professionals.
