The Council For Fair Business Practices CFBP has a Consumer Grievances Redressal Committee to receive and address the consumer complaints vis-à-vis commercial complaints. The Consumer Grievances Redressal Committee of the CFBP consists of eminent Consumer Activists as its members.

The Council For Fair Business Practices was set up in late 1960s to have a self-regulatory body of businessmen so as to protect the interests of the consumers by ensuring that businessmen follow fair business practices. It serves as a bridge between the customers and manufacturers. It caters to both manufactured products & services sector.
