Vidrohi is an upcoming television show on Star Plus. The venture will be helmed under Gatha Productions – a newly born firm in the entertainment space.

The story of the show is based on an armed rebellion against the British East India Company’s rule in Odisha in 1817. The show is based in the British Era and is about a warrior and two princesses.

The makers were supposed to start shooting for the show in 2018, but the project go delayed. And now, the channel has decided to revive this long-delayed historical series in order to offer something fresh to the viewers. Earlier film actor Arjun Sharma, who has worked in in films like Wazir and Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai was reported to be roped in for the lead role.
