Users can download and review public safety 911 call incidents of cities in the USA including:
- Baltimore, Chattanooga, Chicago, Cincinnati, Dallas, New Orleans, San Francisco, Santa Monica and St. Petersbug from Socrata.
The call incidents can be viewed as a text list or on a map as clustered icon markers or as a heat map overlay. Examples of incidents include burglary, assault, fire, accident, and many more. Incident details can be viewed by tapping an item on the list or a map marker. A filtering by tag function is available to easily filter away unwanted incidents from the list or map. Map radius and distance measurement functions can be used. The app also allows the user to send the incident location to the Google Maps app and/or the Street View for directions and better visualization of the incident environment.
