You can race in "Training mode" as many times as you want and whenever you want. The "Competition mode" is open only during the allowed period, although during that period you can take the tour as many times as you want. Your best time will be the one that counts towards the rankings.

Keep in mind that the app will use your phone's GPS even if it is in the background to measure your distance and show your position on the map.
