Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is the sequel to the first fun run game. It has 23 zones, 54 levels, 13 special stages and four playable characters. The fun run game also includes new features such as springs, more boss fights, new monitors, cutscenes, music (although you must play the music first), and more.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 revolves around Sonic's best friend, Tails, who is captured by the infamous Dr. Robotnik. Sonik must fun run save Tails by collecting all seven Time Stones and putting an end to Robotnik's evil plans.

To collect the Time Stones, you must complete (and complete) seven special stages. For each special stage you complete, you receive one Time Stone. You can also collect Chaos Emeralds in the final six special stages, though all they do is unlock bonus content.

One of the major new features added to Sonik the Hedgehog 2 is saving. You can create and delete up to three save files. If you unlock a character in one save file, that character will become available to all save files.

On your journey, you may stumble upon a cut-scene. You will need to first press the button at the front of the room to trigger the cutscene, but otherwise it happens automatically. If you don't want to watch the video, you have the option to skip it.
