Permissions and Functionalities:
The app uses specific permissions to ensure full functionality. The Bluetooth permission is used to unlock the tracker when the ignition lock or audible alarm is set, allowing remote control of the vehicle's security devices. During the vehicle unlocking process, the system simultaneously emits Bluetooth beacon signals and transmits GPS location data, establishing secure and accurate communication between the mobile device and the vehicle tracker. The GPS Location permission is essential and used in the Visits (for accurate recording of customer arrivals and departures), Expenses (for comparing location with tracker data), Convoy (for geolocation during refueling), Passengers (for validating boarding and disembarking), Deliveries (for controlling routes and delivery points), Maintenance (for location during requests), Revenue (for validating collection points), Incidents (for accurate event recording), and Journey (for route monitoring) modules. Location data is especially relevant for modules that incorporate mapping functionality, providing real-time geographic visualization of recorded operations and activities. The Camera permission is used for mandatory photographic documentation in several modules, while NFC allows card reading for passenger tracking. All locations are sent promptly for information comparison with the tracker, ensuring the veracity and accuracy of the operational data recorded in the system.
