The Paediatric Observation Priority Score (POPS) is a bespoke tool for use in Emergency, urgent and potentially primary care, to assign acuity of illness to children and young people. It has been validated for Emergency Department use and there are ongoing studies for use in other environments.
The POPS app was developed by Dr Roland and Dr Davies, with the version 2.0 App built in partnership with the team at Taunton and Somerset NHS Foundation Trust.
POPS is copyright ( creative commons attribution non-commercial sharealike 4.0) Dr Damian Roland and Dr Ffion Davies (initial version March 2010). POPS is not a substitute for good clinical judgement and is not a diagnostic tool.
This web version was created by DanCanDo once the POPS 2.0 app became incompatible with the current Android version.
