Aquaculture plays a crucial role in ensuring food security, supporting economic development, and promoting the sustainable use of natural resources. In Nepal, the farming of Pangasius (Pangasianodon hypophthalmus) has gained momentum due to its high productivity and increasing market demand. However, the sector continues to face significant challenges such as inefficient feed management, inadequate production planning, and limited access to markets.

To address these barriers and unlock the full potential of Pangasius aquaculture, this portal has been developed under FAO Nepal and Central Fisheries Promotion & Conservation Center (CFPCC) as part of a comprehensive initiative aimed at enhancing the technical, entrepreneurial, and decision-making capacities of farmers.

This platform offers the feed calculator and feed formulation in least cost method for making the Pangasius fish farming more profitable business.
