The Humans of Peninsula App is for the creation of a humanitarian network in Cornwall & Isles of Scilly for people who are willing to support others in their local community.
It serves as a recruitment resource for bank staff who can provide paid lifestyle support for people who are facing difficult times in their life due to age, significant change or vulnerability, and who require assistance, such as when returning home from hospital.

It also enables people who are willing to provide one off random acts of kindness on a voluntary basis to be connected with the people who needs it in their local community (within a 2-mile radius).
People who sign up will also be provided with a range of free training and development opportunities and have a DBS check to ensure and maintain the quality of personnel within the network.
